Mark Smith is an artist working in watercolour, inspired by the unique light and landscape in the North of Scotland. His painting style is traditional, with a distinctly Edwardian feel.

He is delighted to accept commissions, and can create paintings in watercolour in the traditional manner, especially landscapes, buildings, interiors and portraits. Paintings are supplied mounted/matted as required, and cellophane wrapped.

Limited edition high quality prints and greetings cards can be made to your requirements from original work – perhaps of your own home, garden or favourite view…

This website gives you some idea of the scope of his work – be sure to visit the gallery pages. If you require more information or wish to place an order, please use the contact form.

Latest news: following two years’ study at the London School of Picture and Frame Restoration, I’m pleased to be able to offer a full conservation and cleaning service for both oil paintings and frames, see the Picture and Frame gallery. Ask for further details.

I’m asked by Harry and Mousey to mention their own special gallery – with drawings illustrating a few of their adventures.

January 2018; please note that the website is now being updated – do call again!
